Building on Arts at Bridgeport School

Connecticut Post, Linda Conner Lambeck…Architecture has taken Thom Mayne all over the world: Beijing, Zurich, Madrid, Paris and Sydney. On Monday it landed him on the East Side of Bridgeport, in one of the district’s oldest schools, Hall. From the stage of the 101-year-old brick building, the famed designer of buildings started mapping out a plan to help students at the school view art as one of their most important subjects. “Art allows you to be yourself,” he said. “To find out who you are.
