Arts program helps students ‘break a leg’ in Bridgeport
Connecticut Post…BRIDGEPORT — In class, Jose Albino, a Roosevelt sixth grader used to be known as shy.
On stage, the 11-year-old scene-stealer knows not only his lines, but everyone else’s in his school’s spring production of “Seussical Jr.,” according to Tanya Ayotte, his past classroom teacher and current choreographer.
“Some kids need this outlet,” Ayotte said. “They are able to come out on stage and exhibit personalities I have never seen before.”\
