Jack Johnson visits elementary school to highlight innovative arts program
Hawii News Now…Johnson was visiting the elementary school in Waianae as part of the Turnaround Arts, a program dedicated to encouraging art education in schools through resources and other creative tools.
“Turnaround Arts is really important to me because when I was a student at Kahuku High School, I had some really great art teachers,” Johnson said. “[They] showed me a way to approach the world [so that] no matter what you did, you could look at it at with an artistic lens.”
