Students support their peers participating in the Turnaround Arts show
KFYRTV…CANNON BALL, N.D. – Family, friends, and educators gathered at the Prairie Knights Casino to watch the Turnaround Arts show live. Eleven students from Standing Rock’s elementary and middle schools traveled to Washington D.C., Those that couldn’t go with them watched together.
“I’m going over there to see them no matter what. Cause this is an opportunity, I don’t get to go, so this is the next best thing, and there are a lot of people who are just as excited as I am to see them, and it’s going to be fun,” said Loretta Bad Heart Bull, School Board Member.
The youth performed a song and dance that they have been rehearsing for months.
